About the role
As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive, accessible and user-centred digital experiences for all Victorians. Working within cross-functional product teams, you will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Delivery, Policy and Design to deliver modern government services through the Service Victoria app.
You will contribute across the full end-to-end design lifecycle - from discovery and user research through to prototyping, testing and delivery - ensuring solutions are grounded in user needs and aligned with policy and technical requirements.
In this role, you will also support the development of consistent and scalable design systems, contribute to usability testing and research activities, and help embed accessibility and inclusive design principles across digital products. You will engage with a range of stakeholders to present and refine design solutions, ensuring outcomes are practical, high-quality and user-focused.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the design of impactful initiatives and contribute to the delivery of seamless, digital-first government services.
There are 2 fixed term roles available for a period of 12 months.
