About the role 

Collaborate with Product, Design and Policy leaders to plan and deliver meaningful and timely research activities that support the function to understand, test and learn how to empower all Victorians with effortless products and services. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to lead research initiatives that contribute to modern and innovative government services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver organisational research strategy — work closely with Product and Design leaders to create and deliver a research strategy that ensures our products and services deliver on organisational goals and meet Government usability standards.
  • Research operations and compliance — Manage research operations to increase capability, efficiency of research and capacity in the department. Oversee research compliance and champion best practice.
  • Mentor and coach Design and Product practitioners — to deliver high quality research methods that will help improve their skills

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months (backfilled parental leave). This position is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
