Key Accountabilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting systems and interactive dashboards, utilizing modern Oracle Cloud Services (OACS, BICC, ADW, ERP) to optimize business reporting and data visualization.
  2. Establish, maintain and support an end-to-end data engineering solution including but not limited to semantic layer, ETL/ELT tools, data warehouse, data mart and catalogues.
  3. Advocate and enforce data management best practices, principles and standards for performance, reliability, scalability, security, and re-usability.
  4. Provide oversight and advice on database design, architecture, build, maintenance, monitoring and performance diagnosis.
  5. Design and develop scalable ETL packages and/or API connections to enable data integration from business source systems in Oracle PaaS (ODI, OCI, ADW and OACS).
  6. Implement and maintain user data layer in OACS including semantic layer, RPDs and data catalogue across multiple environments.
  7. Apply best practice in solution documentation and code repositories.
  8. Work with staff members and stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and authority to assist with data-related technical issues and to support and uplift DTF analytics and infrastructure capabilities.
  9. Liaise with vendors and managed support providers to complete project and further maintenance of the data integration platform.
  10. Actively contribute to a positive, open, delivery focussed culture that values and supports people and is based on collaboration, accountability and trust.

Technical Expertise 

  • Enterprise Analytics & OACS Semantic Modelling: Advanced expertise in constructing multi-user Repository (RPD) configurations—spanning Physical, Business Model & Mapping (BMM), and Presentation layers—along with designing complex dashboards, metadata catalogs, and data visualizations derived from Oracle ERP and EPM environments.
  • Data Engineering & Pipeline Optimization (ODI/OCI): Deep proficiency in writing highly optimized SQL, configuring Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) utilities to orchestrate secure data loads and delta processing into an Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).
