The Operations Group delivers frontline customer services to Victorians and the public service. It maintains the foundational digital infrastructure and platforms that support efficient, secure and reliable service delivery.  

About the Role 

The Oracle ERP Systems Lead is responsible for providing end-to-end functional and technical leadership across Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.  The role ensures effective solution design, system configuration, ongoing enhancements, and stable operations in alignment with business, finance, and governance requirements.   

Key Accountabilities 

  • Provide strategic advice and governance for Oracle Fusion Finance and Procurement, including SaaS updates and quarterly patches. 

  • Lead ERP solution design, configuration and change management, ensuring compliance with IT controls and audit requirements. 

  • Maintain configuration documentation and design standards to support system integrity and auditability. 

  • Manage end-to-end ERP enhancements and optimise reporting solutions such as FRS, BIP and OTBI. 

  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex issues, managing Oracle Service Requests, vendors and system stability. 

 

About You   

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following attributes: 

  • Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance and Procurement configuration and solution design. 

  • Strong SaaS governance, audit and IT control experience, including managing quarterly Oracle updates. 

  • Extensive SDLC and cloud environment management experience across Dev, Test and Production. 

  • Strong analytics and stakeholder management skills, using OTBI, BIP and OACS to support decision-making. 

  • Proven ability to maintain version-controlled configuration repositories and audit-ready documentation.
