About the Role 

The Project Coordinator - Citizen and Regulatory leads the delivery of small-scale initiatives, coordinating projects, stakeholders, timelines, risks and reporting to ensure high-quality outcomes are delivered on time and within scope. The role works autonomously with multidisciplinary teams and senior leaders, using data and standardised project practices to support continuous improvement, effective decision-making and a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, using appropriate methodologies and ensuring projects meet agreed scope, timelines, quality and governance requirements.
  • Manage project governance, risks and issues, applying sound judgement and systems thinking to identify dependencies and develop practical, evidence-based solutions.
  • Use data and reporting to drive performance, quality assurance, informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery and resolve complex issues.
  • Lead teams and manage resources, including budgets and delivery partners, while fostering accountability, capability, collaboration and service excellence.

About You  

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following attributes:

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within agreed parameters and timeframes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams is required. 
  • Previous experience working in government would be highly regarded. 
  • Prince2, PMBOK or relevant tertiary project management qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience leading financial monitoring and reporting across portfolio management, ensuring that programs, projects are delivered within an approved funding envelope.

This role is Fixed Term for two years and is only open to applicants with relevant rights to work in Australia.
