About the role 

The External Works Officer supports the triage, processing, tracking and administration of external works on the arterial road network. The role helps manage compliance processes, maintains project registers and reporting, and supports the authorisation of works by external parties and councils.

 

The role assesses applications and determines the appropriate authorisation pathway, provides clear advice and approval documentation, and guides customers and stakeholders through the external works process. It also tracks project status and upcoming tasks, supports team administration, and identifies opportunities to improve processes and procedures.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Experience in customer service in a technical field
  • Experience using Microsoft office 365
  • Victorian Drivers license (mandatory)
