About the role

 The role sits within a team of other senior and junior engineers who manage the design phase of transport projects across the Loddon Mallee Hume region. The Senior Scoping and Development Engineer role focuses on developing larger scale projects, whilst mentoring and guiding junior engineers through their smaller scale projects. The development of these large scale transport projects requires the role to undertake scoping activities, use CAD to develop civil designs, procure external civil designs, prepare internal governance documents, engage with stakeholders, obtain project permits and work with delivery teams on cost estimation to ensure projects are “delivery ready”.

Qualifications and experience

The role requires a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, extensive experience in civil design and project management, the ability to travel within the Loddon Mallee Hume regions, and a valid driver’s license. Professional Engineering Registration in Civil Engineering is desirable.
