About the role 

This is a Fixed Term Position until 5 March 2027

The Business Services Officer supports the Geelong and Warrnambool regional offices within Barwon Southwest Grampians, reporting to the Business Services Lead. The role coordinates regional initiatives and manages business support functions including fleet, facilities, accommodation, asset management, and general office operations.

Working under broad supervision, the role contributes to local strategies, business planning, and reporting. It applies analytical and problem-solving skills to improve processes, develop practical solutions, build effective stakeholder relationships, and support the leadership team in achieving regional objectives. The position also provides high-quality customer service and helps promote the Department’s values and culture.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Previous experience in business administration.
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours when required.
