Title: Administrative Support Officer
The Opportunity
The Administrative Support Officer supports the delivery of key Strategy and Governance priorities, providing high-quality administrative, coordination and workflow support. Working across multiple teams, the role contributes to executive and ministerial processes, Cabinet and Parliamentary activities, and the preparation of reports while ensuring efficient inbox and workflow management.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Coordinate workflow processes, managing high volumes of items, such as briefs and approvals, through relevant systems, with escalation where required.
- Support the preparation and formatting of reports, briefs and submissions, ensuring they meet quality standards and timelines.
- Maintain strong information management practices while identifying and implementing process improvements.
We are looking for:
- Proven ability to manage administrative processes and coordinate high-volume workflows, delivering accurate outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare and review reports, briefs and correspondence, and liaise clearly with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance administrative processes and implement effective improvements with stakeholders.
- Experience working in government, with an understanding of public sector processes, is beneficial.
