About VIDA Roads (formerly Major Road Projects Victoria)
VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.
Come and be a part of our centre of roads excellence.
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Advisor to support the delivery of employment programs at VIDA Roads, including our graduate and intern programs. In this role, you’ll play a central part in creating a seamless experience for program participants, from recruitment through to onboarding and rotations, while working closely with managers and stakeholders across the business.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate recruitment activities for employment programs, including advertising, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviews, assessment centres, and pre-employment checks.
- Support onboarding, induction, and the learning journey of program participants, facilitating sessions as required.
- Be the go-to contact for program participants, providing coaching and support through a business partnering approach that focuses on local resolution. This is the majority of the role.
- Coordinate participant rotations across teams and projects, balancing individual preferences with business needs.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence related to employment programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across VIDA Roads and the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority to align program expectations and timelines.
About You
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll have experience in HR business partnering and enjoy supporting both employment program participants and managers. You’re someone who can multitask with ease, build strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders, and ensure the smooth delivery of our programs from start to finish.
