About VIDA ROADS
VIDA Roads is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads. We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing.
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough.
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.
Come and be a part of our centre of roads excellence.
About the Role
We’re seeking an Advisor to help manage People & Capability (P&C) projects. In this role, you will design and deliver engagement, change, and readiness strategies that ensure initiatives are understood, adopted, and embedded into day-to-day operations.
You’ll partner with P&C, subject matter experts, and the wider business to ensure that project milestones are met, project sponsors are kept updated, and that all stages of the projects are executed effectively.
This work directly influences how leaders manage their people by continuously optimising our approaches to how we delivery P&C services to the business, including key P&C activites like recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, and general P&C systems upgrades.
Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:

- Maintaining high-quality project documentation including business cases, project plans, workforce impact assessments and stakeholder updates.
- Managing project registers, risk logs and reporting to provide clear visibility of milestones, workforce impacts and compliance considerations.
- Providing practical advice to P&C leads on governance, project management principles, and escalating complex matters as required.
- Coordinating governance forums and draft clear, people-focused communications to support effective oversight and employee engagement.
About You
- You’re an organised and proactive project professional with experience supporting projects end-to-end — from scoping and planning through to tracking, documentation management and meeting coordination. You’re comfortable working across multiple initiatives and keeping delivery on track.
- You bring experience in HR or People & Culture environments, or exposure to government or operational projects. You understand the importance of governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement in people-related work.
- You’re confident using Microsoft 365 and SharePoint to manage documentation, reporting and collaboration.
This opportunity is a 3 year fixed-term contract.
