About MRPV 
Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) is delivering a massive investment in the state’s roads.  We’re delivering major new road projects across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria while improving the roads people rely on every day.  
 
The West Gate Tunnel Project will give Melbourne a second freeway link between the west and the city – providing a much-needed alternative to the West Gate Bridge and a vital second river crossing. 
 
North East Link will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network with new 6.5 km tunnels from Watsonia to Bulleen. We’re also overhauling the Eastern Freeway and completing the M80 Ring Road at Greensborough. 
 
Road Programs are also delivering dozens of new roads, bridges, road widening projects and major freeway upgrades.

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: 

• Compiling and providing advice through reports, briefing notes and presentations on Business Case development and stakeholder requirements. 

• Collecting and analysing data on transport investments, including project reviews and learnings. 

• Reviewing Business Cases and key reports to ensure quality and consistency and proactively addressing issues and risks. 

• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of frameworks, systems, tools and processes for Business Case development. 

• Building strong relationships and collaborating with stakeholders, including project teams and government partners, to progress projects. 

Reporting to the Manager, Project Development, the Advisor provides guidance and advice to improve the consistency, quality and compliance of Business Cases and related project development activities. The role investigates project requirements and performance, develops reports, and contributes to the continuous improvement of systems, tools and processes across MRPV. 

About You  

• Adaptable to changed priorities with the ability to anticipate issues and evaluate options.  

• Proven capability in the analysis of information and data, reporting and communicating complex information for different audiences.  

• Sound project management skills; knowledge of transport infrastructure projects and Business Case development is desirable.
