About VIDA Health 

 

VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity

 

This is a Designated position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples only.

 

Under Section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010, this role is designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants as a special measure to promote substantive equality and increase Aboriginal employment opportunities. Join VIDA Health's Environmental Sustainability team and play a role in creating a healthier, more sustainable future for Victorian communities. Working alongside Aboriginal health organisations, public health services and project teams, you'll support sustainability initiatives that help reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency and contribute to Victoria's commitment to net zero emissions by 2045. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sustainability, project delivery or infrastructure while making a meaningful impact across both the health and Aboriginal community sectors.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Supporting sustainability initiatives across Victoria's public health system.
  • Working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with project coordination and the delivery of energy efficiency and solar projects.
  • Building strong relationships and contributing to positive environmental and community outcomes.
