Play a key role in building policy and governance that shapes Victoria’s future

Join a high-performing team at the heart of Victoria’s housing and building reform agenda. As an Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, you’ll provide trusted advice, policy guidance, and governance support on some of the state’s most important planning and building system challenges.

About the role

This is an ongoing, full-time VPS5 opportunity.

As Advisor Building, you’ll contribute to the effective functioning of the Housing, Building and Land Delivery Group. You’ll work closely with the Deputy Secretary and senior Advisors to deliver high-quality policy advice, review complex briefs and reports, and help steer decision-making on key priorities. This is a collaborative and influential role, requiring strong judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across a wide network of stakeholders.

Experience in government, public policy or the building sector will serve you well, and you’ll bring a sharp eye for quality and detail.
