About the role

Job Location: 525 Collins Street, Melbourne

The Analyst, Contract, Commercial & Performance supports contract administration, performance monitoring, and commercial oversight under the Regional Rail Agreements. The role analyses operational and performance data to inform decision-making, maintain governance processes, identify risks and opportunities, and support effective stakeholder relationships and value realisation within the State’s agreement with V/Line.

The role supports administration of the Regional Rail Agreements through contract management, performance monitoring, reporting, governance support, and stakeholder engagement. It analyses operational and compliance data, identifies risks and trends, prepares reports and briefings, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen contract management and commercial performance outcomes.

  • Develops foundational contract management and commercial acumen while using data analytics and reporting to support performance insights and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

  • Tertiary degree in engineering, business, law, commerce, data science; or extensive experience managing complex contracts or other high value / high risk contracts (mandatory).
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis, Power BI and Microsoft Excel (desirable).
  • Experience in commercial analysis and contractual management (desirable).
  • Experience in complex operational environments (desirable).
