About the role
The Assets Information Analyst manages road asset data and information from end to end, including validation, processing, updates, reporting and visualisation. The role ensures asset information is accurate, consistent, accessible and aligned with business and operational needs. It also supports the Senior Assets Information Analyst in improving business processes and maintaining reliable information flows across Road’s systems.
Key responsibilities include analysing spatial and non-spatial data, producing clear reports and visualisations, improving data processes and systems, resolving technical issues, and providing timely support and advice to stakeholders. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to data quality, problem-solving ability, and clear communication with different audiences.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in spatial information systems, GIS, data science or a related discipline (mandatory).
- Knowledge and experience using professional spatial products and tools (mandatory).
- Technical experience with data integration and asset information technologies such as SQL, FME, IBM Maximo, web mapping, data reporting and visualisation, Power BI, and data management and governance practices.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
