About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2027
The role manages and maintains accurate spatial and timetable data representing Victoria’s public transport network. This includes bus stops, routes, paths of travel, geospatial information and timetables used by DTP, customers and the transport industry.
The role ensures data is accurate, consistent and fit for customer information across websites, journey planners, apps, signage and stop timetables. It also manages data imports and exports, anticipates network changes and ensures data requirements are met before changes take effect, working closely with DTP teams, transport operators and external agencies.

- Adapts to changing priorities and works across teams, with a foundational understanding of geospatial data, mapping and spatial tools.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- List Qualification in, Data Management and/or Spatial Sciences or GIS.
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Experience and expertise in the use of GIS mapping products similar to or including ArcGIS.
