Victoria's Big Build Graduate Program
Over a 2-year program, you'll have the opportunity to:

About the role

Delivering these massive projects takes multi-disciplinary teams to work collaboratively in a complex and creative environment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside leading Australian and international construction and engineering companies to deliver Victoria’s Big Build. You may have the exciting opportunity to work alongside these partners.
In this role, you will:
- work within the VHBA’s Commercial and Legal Team to provide timely and high-quality assistance on matters to support a variety of complex and large-scale infrastructure projects
- assist senior lawyers with researching, drafting and collating reports, briefs and responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- enable the team to ensure that legal documents are completed in accordance with statutory requirements and open to audit at any time
When you join the program, you'll be employed full time at a salary of $79,122 + superannuation (as per VPS EA 2024).

To be eligible, you must:
- have completed a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree between January 2023 and January 2026
- have full Australian working rights for the entire duration of the program (February 2026 to February 2028)
- If you have completed a master’s degree, you must have commenced your master’s within 12 months of completion of your bachelor’s degree.
- have an interest in working in the health infrastructure and/or transport infrastructure industry as part of the Victorian Government
- Desirable: A valid Victorian drivers’ licence
