We’re looking for a motivated Senior Adviser, Cabinet Services Program to help drive improvements in how the Victorian Government manages Cabinet processes. It’s a chance to roll up your sleeves on projects that make a real difference, while gaining unique insight into how government works behind the scenes.
About the team
You’ll be part of the Ministerial and Government Services Branch, which sits within the Governance and Portfolio Services Division at the Department of Transport and Planning. Our group supports high-quality decision-making and streamlines processes that help government run smoothly. Key accountabilities (full list in PD below)
- Assist in the coordination of activities associated with the implementation of the eCabinet system, including scheduling, documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholder queries, providing timely and accurate information, guidance, and troubleshooting support relating to Cabinet systems and processes.
- Support the development and delivery of training sessions and materials for system users, including updating user guides, facilitating workshops, and maintaining learning resources.
- Help implement change management activities by preparing communications, assisting in stakeholder outreach, and capturing feedback from users to inform refinements.
What you’ll bring
You're organised, tech-savvy, and great with people. You’ve got experience juggling multiple priorities in a busy or project-based environment, and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves when deadlines loom. You can quickly pick up new digital systems (or better yet, help others learn them), and you write and present information clearly and effectively. Most importantly, you enjoy working with stakeholders, solving problems, and making improvements that stick.
