About the role 

This is a Fixed Term Position (Executive contract up to 5 years)

 

The Chief Data and Digital leads the department’s data and digital function, overseeing the design, delivery and improvement of digital services. They support senior leaders and teams across the organisation, ensuring data and technology are used effectively to meet priorities. The role influences key stakeholders and drives major digital projects, from planning through to delivery. Success means better, more efficient services, strong data governance, and building the department’s capability to deliver large-scale digital transformation that meets future needs.

Qualifications and experience 

You’ll bring: 

Mandatory

  • Strong technical proficiency in data and digital project delivery.
  • Exceptional strategic leadership and influencing skills to keep projects on track and maintain effective engagement across the Department.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree.
  • Strategic mindset.
