About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity:
This role will manage the planning, coordination, and evaluation of communication channels, including ministerial and internal events across VHBA. This position will involve identifying and attending key events, preparing briefing materials, and overseeing logistics to support full event delivery in collaboration with stakeholders, while balancing competing priorities. This role will also involve statewide coordination and is an amazing opportunity to work closes with some of VHBA largest projects.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Leading the creation of high quality, relevant, and audience-focused written content including web pages, intranet content, speeches, newsletters, executive materials and briefing notes.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with technical experts across VHBA and our key partners to support the developments of events and communications for VHBA.
We are looking for:
- Ability to recognise and address stakeholders’ underlying needs while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting complex briefs, letters, emails, and reports using clear, concise, and grammatically accurate language.
- Ability to define clear objectives and priorities, adapting as needed to meet the organisation’s goals. You will identify necessary processes, tasks, and resources, and establish systems to guide work and monitor progress.
