Future Public Transport Ticketing (PTT) Program

 

The PTT Program is part of the Network Design and Integration group within DTP and is responsible for the management of the myki ticketing system and implementation of the myki upgrade program, which will offer customers more ways to pay for their travel.

About the role

This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2027

This is an exciting opportunity a skilled Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Adviser to help shape future of public transport ticketing in Victoria.

The Public Transport Ticketing (PTT) System will ensure Victoria has a ticketing system that is fit for purpose for 15 years and beyond to meet customers’ expectations and the challenges of the transport network, while facilitating the efficient collection of fare revenues and unlocking potential benefits.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Communications and Engagement, this role will work closely with leads from across the PTT project to develop communications and engagement material for a range of audiences and stakeholders. 

This is a critical and varied role, with key accountabilities including:

  • Assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive communication and stakeholder engagement program, ensuring critical groups are informed and prepared for each phase of the PTT project.
  • Monitoring and supporting stakeholder engagement activities, sentiment and feedback.
  • Collaboration and coordination across the PTT project and the Strategy and Policy Priorities team in the Communications and Customer Experience division.

Qualifications and experience

Mandatory

An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in engagement, communications, public relations, education, or similar discipline.
