The Opportunity

 

Play a pivotal role in delivering Victoria’s major health infrastructure projects! As Contract Manager, you’ll support project teams across a diverse project portfolio, providing expert contract, commercial, and procurement advice. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with legal and commercial specialists, you’ll help drive high‑value projects from planning through delivery, ensuring strong risk management, effective negotiations, and alignment with VIDA Health’s strategic goals. Join a collaborative commercial team focused on quality outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Deliver practical advice to project teams across commercial, contractual, procurement, and claims matters.
  • Support the development of tender documentation, evaluate submissions, and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Partner with project teams and the Commercial Manager to ensure procurement activities meet legislative, policy, and probity standards.

 

We are looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, report on, and manage risk while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Experience providing commercial advice on large‑scale building, health, and/or infrastructure projects, with knowledge of government procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders to resolve commercial challenges and deliver effective solutions.
  • Tertiary qualification in Law, Engineering, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
