About the role 

The Coordinator General, Land Delivery leads the strategic coordination and mobilisation of government land to maximise Victoria’s housing, growth and public value outcomes. Acting as the central “front door” for significant land-related projects, the role develops and manages a whole-of-government land pipeline, including surplus land identification, and pathways to enable its timely use and development.

The position provides authoritative advice on complex land matters, strengthens policy and delivery pathways, and unlocks surplus government land to support housing supply and broader Government priorities, including policy and priority commitments.

 

What we’re looking for

An experienced senior leader with a proven record of success leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams in a large, complex organisation.

 

Success in this role requires:

  • Relevant land deal experience and high commercial acumen.
  • Outstanding values driven people leadership and systems thinking  
  • Risk and governance discipline and a delivery focus,
  • Superior relationship, influence and persuasion skills.
  • Experience working in or closely with government is essential. 
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent professional experience, in fields such as land use planning, economic development or public policy is well regarded.
