About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
Join VHBA and play a key role in supporting divisional leaders through high-level executive and administrative support. In this dynamic position, you’ll proactively identify and solve challenges that impact the division while maintaining systems to track progress, share information, and enhance collaboration for your team. You’ll provide guidance on internal systems, prepare and edit high-quality reports, briefs, and presentations, and offer governance and secretariat support to committees and working groups.
We are looking for someone who:
- Resolves issues by applying a thorough understanding of existing guidelines, and when guidelines are absent, analyses available information and takes appropriate action independently or in consultation with others to achieve effective solutions.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of office management systems and procedures, with proven ability to contribute to the development and effective implementation of policies and processes.
- Has exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Can ensure services are delivered at the highest quality, addressing issues promptly and effectively, while motivating team members to take pride in their work and continuously strive to improve service delivery
