About the role
Job Location: 525 Collins Street, Melbourne , Sunshine or Ringwood
The Delivery Liaison Officer (DLO) acts as a key link between internal teams and external stakeholders, including the Minister’s Office and local government. The role supports effective information sharing, timely advice, and coordination of correspondence through systems such as eBriefing to support better decision-making.
Working within Road Maintenance Operations and closely with metro executive teams, the DLO responds to information requests and helps resolve local issues affecting the road network. The role also provides administrative support, prepares briefs and reports, manages competing priorities, and ensures tasks are completed accurately, on time, and to required standards.

- Uses sound critical thinking to assess information, stakeholder needs, and options before making informed recommendations.
- Adapts easily to changing priorities, remains flexible in approach, and is open to learning new ways of working.
- Understands stakeholder, organisational, and political contexts to manage expectations and ensure solutions are appropriate and fit for purpose.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience drafting high-level written communications. (Mandatory)
- Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage and manage diverse relationships. (Mandatory)
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
