About the role
The Digital Engineering and CDE Application Manager supports the Digital Engineering team by managing the Transport Common Data Environment (TCDE) and related systems with a particular focus on Digital Engineering requirements. The role works with internal teams, contractors and industry partners to ensure digital data and BIM models are accurate, consistent and meet required standards. It provides training, guidance and system support, and helps improve processes and system integration. Success in this role ensures reliable digital information, better project coordination and more effective management of transport assets across their lifecycle.

- Enjoys working with digital engineering systems and improving how data is managed across projects.
- Can develop and apply Digital Engineering standards, processes and documentation in complex environments.
- Can manage CDE platforms and BIM data, ensuring information is accurate and integrated across systems.
- Can use digital tools confidently and support others in adopting new technologies.
- Can drive innovation and improve processes, balancing technical solutions with practical project needs.
Qualifications and experience
- 3 years minimum experience as a Digital Information manager in a similar role within the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry (Mandatory)
- Dedicated common data environment system administration experience, delivering systems to aid in large complex projects (Mandatory)
- Proven experience in supporting Digital Engineering delivery in a similar role within the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry (Mandatory)
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering data standards and industry best practices (Mandatory)
- Experience in using and managing Autodesk Construction Cloud (Mandatory)
- A strong knowledge and track record in mapping workflows (Desirable)
- Experience in integrating Autodesk Construction Cloud with FME and ArcGIS (Desirable)
- Experience in ACC & Power BI integration (Desirable)
