About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position (Executive Contract up to 5 years)
The Director, Bus Planning and Reform leads a team to redesign and improve Victoria’s bus network so it better meets community needs and supports growth. They plan routes and services using data, deliver key reforms, and ensure projects stay on track and within budget. The role works closely with government, industry and local councils, influencing decisions and aligning priorities across transport. They provide expert advice to senior leaders and drive collaboration across teams. Success means a more reliable, efficient and integrated bus network that delivers better outcomes for passengers and the wider community.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- At least 7 years’ experience in transport planning, transport strategy, or transport operations with a preferred focus on bus. (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of the Victoria’s transport system. (Mandatory)
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
