About VIDA Health 

VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

The Opportunity

Lead VIDA Health’s land, property and planning divisions, driving strategic advice and outcomes that support major government health projects. Working closely across delivery, strategy, commercial and legal teams, you'll oversee land acquisition, planning approvals, property optimisation and risk management, while leveraging strong industry connections and market insight to shape innovative development opportunities.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Providing strategic leadership across land, property and planning, influencing major health infrastructure outcomes across Victoria.
• Championing collaboration across government, health services and industry, navigating complexity to deliver transformative infrastructure outcomes.
• Shaping project success through expert land, property and planning leadership, balancing risk, innovation and delivery excellence.

We are looking for:

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across government, health and industry, building trusted partnerships and driving complex negotiations.
• A strategic and influential leader who can navigate complexity, inspire performance and shape organisational success.
• Strong knowledge of property, planning and project delivery frameworks, with experience driving land acquisition, approvals and strategic infrastructure outcomes.
• An experienced leader with connections across the developer sector and insights into current market trends.
• Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Commerce, Business/Economics/ Valuations or other property related discipline or similar is highly desirable.
