About the role
The Director Program Delivery leads the planning and delivery of major transport projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to approved scope. The role provides strategic oversight of program performance, governance, risks and interdependencies, while supporting informed decision-making and delivering whole-of-network outcomes.
As a senior leader, the role provides expert advice to executives and government, builds strong partnerships across the public and private sectors, and drives organisational improvement. It also leads high-performing teams, manages resources and budgets, and ensures projects comply with governance requirements while supporting the Department's strategic priorities.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading the governance and delivery of large-scale, complex infrastructure programs or portfolios within transport, infrastructure or a comparable environment (mandatory).
- Proven experience in program governance, risk management and executive-level stakeholder engagement (mandatory).
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
