About the Group

 Program and Integration branch works across all development settings to plan for housing and jobs growth by:  

  • enabling the delivery of spatial planning programs through specialist advice, processes and tools; 
  • developing spatial planning strategy, and designing new spatial planning programs; 
  • working across government to drive integrated land use, transport and other infrastructure outcomes for state led spatial planning locations; and 
  • delivering planning projects and grant programs to support liveable communities.

 

The branch sits within the Spatial Planning division which is in the broader Housing, Building and Land Delivery group.

Reporting to the Executive Director Program and Integration, the Director Program Performance and Coordination is a senior leadership role responsible for  driving program coordination across all development settings across Victoria and managing the administration of the significant Growth Area Infrastructure Contributions system.

This role will lead the project management office for the Spatial Planning division, business case coordination, monitoring, evaluation and reporting functions, combined with driving system and process consistency and excellence. The role also oversees the administration of the Growth Area Infrastructure Contributions system, including regular reporting, variations of individual payments and coordinating revenue distribution to priority greenfield infrastructure through the management of funding rounds.  The role will also be responsible for administering other infrastructure contributions systems, including administering the Fishermans Bend Developer Contributions Plan.

This role forms part of a new leadership team tasked with planning, delivering and monitoring integrated infrastructure and land use outcomes to support housing and jobs growth across all State-led development settings in Victoria.

Qualifications and role specific requirements 

  • A tertiary qualification in urban planning or related discipline.
