About the role 
The Executive Assistant provides high-level diary, secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Spatial Planning. The role coordinates information flow, monitors priorities, and ensures timely, accurate reporting and documentation. It delivers a comprehensive range of specialist administrative support services, including budget and financial reporting, information management, standardising business processes and meeting OH&S requirements. The role ensures timely, accurate, consistent and appropriate information is provided to various stakeholders and governments authorities.

You are someone who enjoys using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret guidelines, analyse information, and make informed decisions, seeking additional insights where needed. You apply data literacy to understand data sources and structures, generate meaningful analysis, and use advanced Excel tools to support decision-making. You communicate with impact by delivering clear, logical and audience-focused messages. You thrive in collaborative environments, building supportive team relationships, sharing information across teams, and supporting others through challenges.

Qualifications and experience 
You’ll bring an appropriate tertiary qualification or extensive administration, executive support, business management expertise in public sector management.
