About the role
As a Finance Officer here at LXRP you play a critical role within the dynamic and results-driven Systems and Controls team. Working within a diverse and supportive environment, you will be part of a culture that embraces forward-thinking and collaboration.
In this role you will support the team to establish, implement, maintain, and improve effective and efficient financial and procurement systems, such as Unifier and Oracle Cloud. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including (but not limited to):
- Assisting the invoice lifecycle by creating purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding payments and ensuring all invoices are approved on time.
- Supporting the file management for all finance and procurement documentation – accuracy is essential to the role.
- Assisting the management of monthly accruals and generation of month end reports.
At LXRP we embrace and encourage flexibility, we work in a hybrid capacity, so you will work a mix of office and home. The team works 2 days in the office, typically Tuesday and Wednesday.
We like to work together when it makes sense, so when working from the office you will find yourself in workshops, brainstorms, and real life catch ups with people as you build rapport with your key stakeholders across the business and within the industry.

Our office is based in the Melbourne CBD, and the office environment is lively, collaborative, and exciting. This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $79,122 - $96,073 + superannuation.
About you
As the ideal candidate you will be passionate about processes, with a keen eye for detail and an interest in system improvements. Your ability to remain calm under pressure will be a much-needed skill in this fast-paced environment. We are interested in candidates with experience in accounts payable positions and with strong analytical skills.
We are also looking for someone who doesn't shy away from team collaboration as well as the confidence to work autonomously and make the role your own!
Let's get technical! What will we expect from you?
- Experience using Unifier and Oracle system and familiarity with Oracle Projects is essential to this role.
- Strong written and verbal communication as the role requires you to collaborate with a variety of internal and external teams.
- Proven experience in providing accurate and high-quality support whilst handling high volume workloads.
- Experience in a major infrastructure project environment is highly desirable but not essential.
