About the role
The Graduate Planner works as part of a collaborative team supporting the Minister for Planning’s statutory responsibilities in the Barwon South West/Grampians region. The role helps deliver high-quality planning advice and services to government, agencies and local councils.
Working under guidance, the role assists with planning scheme amendment assessments, prepares basic reports and correspondence, and contributes to team priorities. It also builds networks, seeks mentoring and development opportunities, and supports a positive and collaborative workplace culture while working flexibly across projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification in planning or a related field (completed or currently underway)
Pre-employment checks and employment conditions
Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks will be required.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
