About the role

The Group Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and supporting activities that strengthen collaboration, communication, and engagement across teams or stakeholder groups. The role focuses on creating a positive and well-connected environment through effective coordination of engagement initiatives, proactive stakeholder support, and strong administrative capability, including diary and scheduling support. From time to time the role will lead projects or programs of work on behalf of the Deputy Secretary which are generally specialised and cross business or organisational projects.

Qualifications and experience

Mandatory

  • Demonstrated experience in coordination, stakeholder engagement, events, or executive support in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook calendar management, Teams meetings/webinars, SharePoint pages/libraries).
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Desirable 

  • Understanding of policy issues and reform in the context of Victoria’s land-use planning system.
