About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 31 August 2026
The HR Operations Advisor manages employee lifecycle processes and maintains the Department’s organisational structure in the VicGov People system. Working closely with the People Operations team, the role delivers efficient, customer-focused HR services by processing employee changes, maintaining accurate people and position data, and providing advice to stakeholders.
The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of HR policies and systems. Key responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy, supporting stakeholders with compliant HR solutions, identifying trends and improvements, and contributing to continuous process enhancements that improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures (mandatory).
- Experience working with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (mandatory).
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, and experience using HRIS platforms.
