About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy & Architecture this role is responsible for leading the delivery of complex systems integration activities that support Safe Transport Victoria’s strategic priorities and operational effectiveness as part of a business-led, technology-enabled transformation.
The Integration Project Manager will operate in a dynamic environment, bringing strong delivery discipline while remaining flexible and responsive to emerging needs, changing priorities and ambiguity. The role requires someone who can balance project management theory and frameworks with sound judgement, pragmatism and a strong focus on outcomes.
The key aspect of the role is working proactively across business, technical and external stakeholder groups to ensure integration requirements are clearly understood, dependencies are actively managed, and decisions or actions required from partner agencies are identified and progressed in a timely way.
The responsibilities of the Integration Project Manager will include, but are not limited to:

Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex systems integration activities

Establishing and maintaining appropriate project governance, planning and reporting for integration delivery

Managing scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery outcomes across multiple integration streams

Engaging and influencing stakeholders across business and technical areas, including partner agencies, vendors and service providers

Working proactively with partner agencies to ensure integration requirements, dependencies, responsibilities and timeframes are clearly understood and progressed

Following up actions, decisions and information requests to maintain momentum and support timely delivery

Ensuring Safe Transport Victoria’s integration needs are clearly articulated and that information required from external stakeholders is identified early and actioned

Supporting shared ownership of outcomes and building strong cross-functional collaboration

Driving continuous improvement in integration delivery by applying lessons learnt and performance insights

Maintaining project documentation, governance records and knowledge management practices

Planning for the effective transition of project outcomes into business-as-usual operations.
You will bring demonstrated experience delivering complex technology, digital or systems integration initiatives, with strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and agile ways of working. Just as importantly, you will know how to apply that knowledge in a practical, fit-for-purpose way to achieve results.
You will combine strong delivery discipline with the judgement, adaptability and initiative to lead work through complexity, respond to changing priorities and maintain focus on strategic outcomes.

About You
You are a capable and delivery-focused project professional with demonstrated experience leading complex technology, digital or integration initiatives. You have strong knowledge of project management frameworks, governance and agile delivery approaches, together with the judgement to apply them in a practical and fit-for-purpose way.
You bring a strategic and disciplined approach to delivery, with the ability to align project activity to organisational priorities, manage complexity and support informed decision-making. You are an effective problem solver who can establish clarity, engage stakeholders and maintain focus on achieving high-quality outcomes.
You are self-motivated, adaptable and accountable, with a collaborative working style and a strong commitment to delivery excellence.
You are also confident working across organisational boundaries and building effective relationships with partner agencies and service providers. You proactively follow through on actions, clarify expectations and ensure integration requirements are understood and progressed.
Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, and integration approaches including APIs, middleware or data exchange solutions, will be highly regarded.
Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in project management, information systems, business or a related discipline is desirable

Agile, SAFe and/or Prince2 qualifications are highly desirable

Equivalent professional experience in leading complex technology, digital or systems integration projects will be considered
