VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

 

The Opportunity

 

We have an exciting 3 months back-fill opportunity to lead VIDA Health’s parliamentary and ministerial function to deliver fast, accurate briefings and advice to executives and key government stakeholders. In this role, you’ll own systems and processes, lead a high‑performing team, and drive continuous improvement across parliamentary, ministerial and briefing systems. Strong relationships and sharp judgement are critical to success in this role.

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Managing Cabinet, ministerial and parliamentary obligations for VIDA Health, ensuring high‑quality, timely advice and inputs to senior executives, VIDA, DH and WOVG forums and processes, including reporting.
  • Oversight of key processes including managing Brief Connect and eBriefings work flows; and managing relationships with our interface departments (Department of Health and Department of Transport and Planning).
  • Managing a small high performing team including a departmental liaison officer and staff who matrix into VIDA Health’s project delivery teams to assist with Cabinet, ministerial and parliamentary obligations.

 

We are looking for:

  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a complex, sensitive and high‑pressure environment, with strong accountability and self‑management.
  • Demonstrated experience with process and system improvements including Sharepoint and reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success leading parliamentary and ministerial services within complex environments.
