The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
As the Manager, Internal Change Communications, you’ll lead the design and delivery of strategic internal communications that bring VHBA’s purpose, priorities and culture to life.This is a role you’ll shape the way we communicate through change and growth, partnering closely with senior leaders to build trust, drive alignment, and strengthen engagement across the organisation.Your work will help employees understand, connect and contribute to VHBA’s vision, while fostering a culture of transparency, inclusion and shared purpose.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Leading the development and execution of VHBA’s internal communications and engagement strategy.
- Partnering with senior leaders to deliver timely, clear and authentic communication during business-as-usual and transformation.
- Driving internal engagement through events, forums and initiatives that celebrate people, progress and shared purpose.
- Using data and insights to measure impact and continuously improve communication channels and approaches.
We are looking for:
- Someone with proven experience leading strategic internal communications in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- A trusted advisor who can inspire confidence, build trust and foster a culture of growth, accountability and collaboration.
- A communicator who blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, thrives on clarity and connection, and navigates change with confidence and empathy.
