Title: Manager, Learning and Organisational Capability
VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation. The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.
About this Opportunity
This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation and embedding of a learning and development strategy and framework that supports capability growth aligned to the VIDA strategy and drives performance. This includes professional development, CPD programs, coaching and mentoring, and leadership programs suitable for early career managers through to senior executives.
A key component of this role is the development, delivery and regular review/refresh of corporate mandatory compliance training ensuring legal and regulatory compliance that reduces organizational risk and builds a culture of accountability and integrity.
Success in this position is the ability to proactively identify emerging issues and deliver fit for purpose solutions in a commercially astute and timely manner.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who thrives with a blend of design, development and delivery and can develop programs for all levels of the organisation.
The position reports to the Director, People and Capability and, as a key member of the team, will play a role in fostering a continuous improvement and service excellence culture, and supporting VIDA to deliver on its organisational objectives.
