VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation. The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.

 

About this Opportunity

 

The Manager, Mobility position sits within the VIDA Mobility function, providing leadership to a small team that is responsible for providing comprehensive case management to employees who are either on redeployment, have been unattached from their substantive role or are subject to project demobilisation activities. This role is also responsible for facilitating the remobilisation of employees across the VIDA portfolio and partner agencies, overseeing surge recruitment, market mapping, workforce capability assessments and strategic workforce planning and analytics. Key to the success of this position is the ability to proactively engage with key stakeholders to understand workforce demand, identify critical skills gaps, and implement innovative mobility and/or recruitment solutions.
