About VIDA Health
VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
As the Manager, People & Capability, you'll be a trusted advisor to Executive Leaders, providing expert guidance on complex people matters and driving informed decision-making across your client groups. You'll build strong stakeholder relationships, lead proactive people initiatives, support the resolution of workforce challenges, and provide specialist advice on employment legislation and best practice.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Delivering trusted advice and coaching on complex people issues, supporting leaders to make informed decisions while ensuring compliance with legislation and enterprise agreements.
- Leading and support the management of complex people matters, providing expert advice on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations, workers' compensation, and workplace disputes.
- Supporting leaders through change and transformation, delivering practical strategies that drive effective organisational change.
We are looking for:
- Proven ability to manage complex people matters and provide specialist workplace relations advice across performance management, misconduct, grievances, investigations, change initiatives, and dispute resolution.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Executive Leaders to navigate complex workplace relations issues, providing expert advice and practical solutions with minimal supervision.
- Extensive experience resolving complex workforce challenges and partnering with stakeholders to apply employment legislation, policies, and procedures in a practical and commercially focused way.
