VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. 

The Opportunity

As Manager, Project Engagement and Communications, you will lead the delivery of communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for some of Victoria’s most significant health infrastructure projects. Leading a high-performing team, you will drive engagement and communications activities, build strong relationships with stakeholders and communities, manage project issues and milestones, and work closely with project, media, and content teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. This role is ideal for an experienced communications and engagement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing competing priorities, and is passionate about leading teams and delivering impact.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Lead strategic communication and engagement initiatives across multiple projects, delivering timely, high-quality outcomes that align with divisional and organisational goals.
• Provide strategic communications and engagement leadership across project teams, ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
• Influence project outcomes by providing high-quality advice on communications, stakeholder engagement, emerging issues and reputational risk.

We are looking for:

• Proven ability to drive communication, engagement and stakeholder outcomes in large, complex and evolving environments.
• Ability to design and deliver impactful engagement programs, workshops and consultations that meet stakeholder needs.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver informed recommendations.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in fast-paced, complex environments.
