Title: Manager, Sourcing and Advisory
VIDA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation. The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) is responsible for delivering the biggest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing level crossings, new and upgraded hospitals in Footscray, Frankston and Warrnambool, and specialist programs such as the early parenting centres expansion and upgrade program. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project, the Metro Tunnel Project and the Victorian Health Building Authority.
About this Opportunity
The Manager, Sourcing and Advisory, plays a pivotal leadership role within VIDA’s Procurement function, responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end sourcing services across a diverse range of goods and services categories. This role leads a team of procurement professionals, fostering capability development and continuous improvement to support the effective planning and execution of complex procurement activities.
Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, the Manager, Sourcing and Advisor ensures procurement strategies align with organisational objectives, probity requirements, and the broader Victorian Government procurement framework. Through strategic oversight of sourcing processes, from tender development to contract execution and by promoting strong stakeholder engagement and governance, the role ensures value-for-money outcomes and strengthens procurement capability across VIDA.
The Manager, Sourcing and Advisory is a Procurement leader and jointly responsible for establishing and promoting a strong culture, where collaboration, performance, customer service and personal growth are valued.
