About VIDA Health
VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
The Manager, Strategy & Insights is a new position that will lead key strategic projects that support VIDA Health’s work across Victoria’s major health infrastructure projects. You’ll guide a small team, deliver high‑impact strategy and reform initiatives, and work closely with senior leaders to support decision making. We’re seeking a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, data‑to‑insight capability, and confidence managing stakeholders in complex, fast‑paced environments.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Lead end‑to‑end strategy and reform projects, driving fast, high‑impact results.
- Deliver clear, high‑quality advice and liaison to support senior and Government decision‑making, including preparing presentations and key talking points.
- Proactively identify strategic risks and insights, offering constructive advice and driving the delivery of comprehensive briefs and submissions.
We are looking for:
- Demonstrated success delivering strategy or infrastructure pipeline projects end‑to‑end, including project scoping, planning, resourcing, and overseeing governance, milestones and deadlines.
- Proven ability to produce high‑quality strategic or policy advice grounded in strong analysis, data and evidence, with an understanding of Government priorities, system complexity and stakeholder needs, resulting in actionable, implementable solutions.
- Experienced in creating innovative solutions to complex problems, drawing on industry insights, academic research and global best practice, and bringing together cross‑team and cross‑organisation partners to co‑design effective outcomes.
