About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and experienced leader to step into the role of Manager, Cabinet Services for a 12-month fixed term. This influential position oversees all Cabinet and Cabinet Committee matters across the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) portfolio, ensuring timely, high-quality and well-coordinated advice is delivered to portfolio Ministers.
Working at the centre of decision-making, you’ll lead a high-performing team and collaborate with senior stakeholders including Ministers’ Offices, the Secretary’s Office, and DPC. You’ll champion continuous improvement, drive digital solutions, and ensure Cabinet submissions meet critical timeframes. This is your opportunity to lead meaningful change, strengthen public sector processes, and influence government outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications
Desirable
- Understanding of the functions and operation of government.
- Relevant tertiary qualification would be well regarded.
You’ll need demonstrated experience navigating complex government and parliamentary processes, with accomplished-level proficiency in stakeholder management, digital literacy, and continuous improvement. A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, and experience working within the Victorian Public Sector is advantageous.
Occasional work outside standard hours may be required.
