About the role
The Manager Learning & Development leads the design and delivery of training and development programs across the department. The role works with leaders, teams and stakeholders to identify capability needs and create learning solutions that help staff perform at their best. It also manages graduate and early career programs to build a strong and diverse workforce. The role leads a team and oversees systems and projects to ensure effective delivery. Success in this role builds workforce capability, supports career development and helps the organisation perform better now and into the future.

Qualifications and experience

A relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, Psychology, Education or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in workforce capability and talent development.

All new appointments to the department will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check, Misconduct Screening, and a Qualification Check where there is a requirement for a mandatory qualification. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
