About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Opportunity until 30 June 2027
Job Location: 1 Spring Street, Melbourne
The Marketing Advisor develops and delivers marketing campaigns that help keep the community informed about important public transport fare changes, including free travel for under 18s and expanded weekend travel entitlements for Seniors Card holders. The role works closely with internal teams, external suppliers, media and creative agencies to ensure communications are clear, consistent and delivered on time and within budget. They prepare campaign materials, reports and presentations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Success in this role helps customers better understand transport changes and ensures information is delivered clearly, accurately and consistently across the transport network.

You’re someone who:
- Enjoys working with purpose and helping others understand how their work supports the community and organisational goals
- Can adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively with different teams and stakeholders
- Has strong communication skills and can present information clearly, confidently and professionally, including handling sensitive discussions
- Can influence and engage others by tailoring messages to suit different audiences and addressing concerns effectively
- Has experience coordinating projects, managing tasks, monitoring progress and ensuring work is delivered on time and to expected outcomes

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in customer led marketing, communications or community engagement role. (Mandatory)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or communications related discipline. (Desirable)
- Previous experience in government, transport or related industry. (Desirable)
