Position accountabilities

The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking an experienced Marketing Advisor – Future Public Transport Ticketing to support the delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns and initiatives that engage the community and promote the future of Victoria’s transport network.

 

In this role, you will plan and coordinate marketing activities to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with brand and strategic objectives. You will develop campaign materials tailored to specific channels and audiences, monitor expenditure and procurement activities, and prepare reports, briefs and presentations to support key projects.

 

Collaboration is key – you will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, media and creative agencies to ensure marketing activities are well-coordinated, targeted and effective. You will also play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships across the department and contributing to a positive, inclusive and flexible team culture.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated marketing professional to apply their skills in project and campaign delivery, stakeholder engagement and creative execution within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation shaping the future of public transport in Victoria.

 

Qualifications and experience

 Mandatory

Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or a related field.

 

Desirable

Demonstrated experience working in a project environment desirable.
