About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 30 June 2027
The VTDE PMO Lead coordinates and manages the VTDE Program, supporting the Project Director, Project Managers and delivery team. The role provides administrative and program support to help deliver a large-scale organisational systems project, strategies and initiatives, while adding value through effective planning, governance and coordination.
Key responsibilities include program reporting, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, records management, risk and issue management, scheduling and executive updates. The role ensures governance requirements and standards are met and supports the delivery and measurement of program initiatives. Other duties may be assigned consistent with employment classification, skills, and capabilities, in line with Section 31A of the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic).

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder ICT programs on time and within budget. (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2, PMP or Agile, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. (mandatory)
- Experience managing budgets, resources and vendor relationships, with knowledge of ICT governance, enterprise architecture and IT service management frameworks. (mandatory)
- Formal certification in PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or equivalent, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. (optional)
